Issue: Multiple MDS IDs are associated with a single part number
IMDS expects one IMDS ID to be associated with one part number.
Action Required:
Review the existing MDS IDs associated with a part number. The earliest MDS ID should be used. Create updated versions of that ID to reflect changes made in the materials or components of the MDS. To do this find the earliest MDS ID in your search results. Highlight and right click on the MDS in the search results. Select Copy > New Version to create a new version of the existing MDS.
Any later MDS IDs should be deleted to avoid future confusion. CAUTION: When you select Delete read the pop-up message carefully before selecting YES or NO. Remember an MDS cannot be undeleted.
