Issue: Insufficient copper present for classification 3.1
The material in question is classified as 3.1 Copper (e.g. copper amounts in cable harnesses); but contains less than 99% Copper (Cu) CAS # 7440-50-8
Per IMDS Recommendation 001a* – Classification 3.1 is for pure copper with a content of more than 99%. If your copper contains less than 99% copper but at least 48% copper, it should be classified as 3.2.
