Issue: Material contains DIBP
Diisobutylphthatlate (DIBP), CAS# 84-69-5 is a REACH SVHC. It has been added to REACH Annex XIV with a sunset date of 21 February 2015. This means that DIBP cannot be present in a material above 0.1% of the weight of the component in which the DIBP is found.
Action Required:
If the amount of DIBP reported is correct, contact your customer to discuss a solution to this issue.
If the amount of DIBP reported is not correct, revise the data and resubmit.
* REACH Annex XIV substances are regulated for manufacturing purposes in the EU. If your part is manufactured outside the EU, you may be able to continue using this substance depending on the regulatory requirements in your location. However, be aware that OEMs usually require that these substances not be used in parts supplied to them.
