The material in question is classified as 2.1.2 Wrought aluminum alloys; but contains less than 50% of the substances in the basic substance group, Chk: Aluminium.
Per IMDS Recommendation 001a** – This classification is for Aluminum alloys fashioned or shaped to a desired form by a gradual process of cutting hammering, scraping, pressing or stretching.
Action Required:
Review the material composition and classification and revise as necessary.
