Meet the RSJ Consulting Team!

Michael Wurzman
Mike blends technical expertise with business savvy. He evaluates your business needs as an engineer (Purdue) and a MBA (Indiana), always seeking the simplest and most straightforward solution. He understands your engineering documents, the requirements of database management, and the need for extensible solutions that can adapt to the ever-changing regulatory landscape.
Mike is at home on the production floor, with a mastery of details borne from years of experience in the electronic and semiconductor industries. But he also focuses on the big picture: how emerging environmental regulation creates opportunities for you to establish a competitive advantage for your products and to expand your markets. He preaches that when you sell your product, you really are selling both the product and the compliance data that goes with it.
Hailing from Indiana, Mike has a thoroughgoing familiarity with automotive suppliers, the components they manufacture, and the regulatory issues they face. A member of the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), he is an active member of the Chemical Management & Reporting Advisory Group and is a regular presenter at the AIAG IMDS/REACH Summits.
David Roeber
David is an experienced project and program manager with over 35 years in medical device, electronics & telecommunications manufacturing. He  consults in the areas of product environmental compliance (relating to restricted materials and substances of concern) and product lifecycle sustainment (relating to component obsolescence).
As an engineering manager at Abbott Labs, David championed environmental compliance within the Diagnostics Division. His accomplishments include leading the first RoHS major site project, driving the PCB shop to develop their first medical device PB-free compliant line, and developing the model for compliance within his division. David also quantified much of the data and cost information submitted by COCIR and AvdMed (medical device industry associations) in consultations with the European Union.
David specializes in helping manufacturers improve their business processes and develop strategies for compliance. He has detailed expertise in product lifecycle management (PLM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. At Abbott, the processes he put in place enabled them to assess their risk areas across all products, to track compliance status through the supply chain, to implement a pro-active obsolescence system, and to integrate all functions into their existing business processes.
